Festival dell’Energia is recognized as one of the most important events in the Energy sector in Italy. Over the years, it has dynamically addressed critical issues for our future, with a sense of responsibility. It has also provided a unique opportunity for networking, fostering an open and positive debate among stakeholders and aggregating leadership, innovative thinking, a culture of excellence and a vision of change.
To better respond to changes under way in the economic and political scenario and in the energy sector, Festival dell’Energia 2013 shows a more innovative and challenging format both in terms of programme and contents.
As part of this new approach, cooperation was started with the ItaliaCamp association, which will promote the Energy BarCamp. Festival dell’Energia will be organized under the aegis of LUISS Guido Carli University, which will host the event in its location at Viale Romania, of Milan’s Politecnico and of Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
The Festival’s 6th edition will be based on a dichotomy between conference and unconference, between the traditional format of round tables and the more participative barcamp format. Talk shows, debates and workshops will be held on the opening day, largely available in streaming on the web site, while the second day will be devoted to the Energy Camp, an innovative area devoted to sustainable energy and clean technologies, where consolidated experience is presented alongside future-oriented ideas. The Camp will provide an opportunity to promote projects and resources that will make it possible for Italy to play a leading role in a vital sector for economic growth in Italy and in Europe.
The Call 4 Ideas will select the most interesting ideas. On www.italiacamp.it and www.festivaldellenergia.it is possible to load your own contribution and compete for a space as “barcamper” during one of the three thematic session: right to energy, energy efficiency culture and smart grid.
